Had some great lessons this year! My brother both came in the Summer and October for some lessons and Smart Surf was great every time. Hollie is always friendly and welcoming and Dylan was especially helpful in the summer tailoring the lesson to turning across waves when we were ready to! Definitely coming back to rent a couple of surfboards next year! 🏄🏼‍♂️

Having a surfing lesson at sunset, is there anything better. Holly & Lily were the loveliest teachers, they really encouraged everyone and helped us riding the waves. The after-surfing smiles are still here and this was an afternoon I won’t forget. Absolute recommendation 🏄‍♂️

Sam and Hollie (and the rest of the team) are INCREDIBLE! My Son, Sebastian, and I, had the most amazing lesson with Sam, and the equally brilliant Amelia last week. We had so much fun, and learned so much in the first lesson, we booked another lesson for the next day! The lessons combine theory, sea safety, and fun, in a superb way. Everything was broken down step by step and gradually built up, which ensured that Sebastian and I were both standing up (and I usually have the balance of Bambi on ice). We had Hollie and Lilly on our second lesson and they were both brilliant at ensuring we improved as the lesson went on. I was just sad that we didn't have enough time on our holiday to book a third lesson. We will definitely book in with them again the next time we are in the area.

Sam, Hollie, Seb, Eddie and the gang have always made our trips to Sennen a fantastic experience. They are true professionals in the water and have a wealth of knowledge to share with anyone who is interested in picking up surfing or improving their abilities. There is no doubt they will have you up and riding waves in just one session all the while understanding helping you understand the safety and ultimately building confidence in the water. Me and my other half have loved coming to Sennen so much that we had a big group (20 of us) come down for a group lesson together - everyone was up riding waves and a lot of them have got the bug! Smart Surf is an amazing company ran by amazing people and could not recommend them enough - get down there! Thank you Sam, Seb, Hollie, Eddie, Lew and all down in Sennen! 🤙

We spent 4 days in Sennen cove and had two lessons with smart surf school. Both times they were amazing at not only teaching but also making us feel comfortable in an environment we were not familiar with. A family run business that made you feel right at home.

You made Sennen Cove to Sennen Love! Me and my girlfriend did the beginners lesson and it was so much fun for us! Next day we hired surfboards and wetsuit for really fair prizes (just 25£ for both half a day!!!). Everybody was always friendly to us! Thank you so much! Greetings from the Germans :)

Fantastic surf school and service. Not a bad thing to say. We originally had one beginner lesson booked but enjoyed the experience that much booked in another the next day. Lew was a great instructor and we couldn't believe how much he managed to teach us so quickly. He had a great relaxed and positive approach that made the lesson super fun. A shout out to Hollie for squeezing us in a short notice and sorting everything out. This is the place to go.

Fabulous experience. Fabulous coaches. Fabulous people. A long held desire to surf 'properly' became a reality having spent 5 days with Sam, Hollie and Seb, what a great team they make, fine coaches. Their interest, encouragement, enthusiasm and skill brings out the best in you to be safe, have fun and to work hard. In 5days I had a blast, went from struggling to get on the board to catching my own waves. Sam is a star, couldn't have done it without him, his patience, his ability to explain and his wicked sense of humour all managed to get my 64 year old body performing on a surf board…thank you. Thank you to my fellow students, James, Lizzie, French Tom and Cape Town Tom... you were all brilliant and helped me on my trip! Such an amazing place to learn to surf! We chose Smart surf at Sennen cove as we wanted to learn away from the busy areas of other Cornish Beaches. What a great choice is was. Sam and the guys were great teachers and got us all standing in one lesson. Not only did they teach us as a group but they helped us out individually to work on bits we were struggling with.
